Los Alamos Visiting Nurses Services :: Debbie Weber Debbie Weber,  Interim Executive Director, Administrative Team- Office Manager

The Board of Directors recently requested Debbie become the Interim Executive Director of Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service while the search for a new Director is conducted. Debbie accepted this assignment and is very happy to have the support and assistance of the Board of Directors and the fabulous staff of Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service.

Debbie moved to Los Alamos in 1978 with her husband, where they raised two lovely daughters. She has four fabulous grandchildren that she enjoys spending time with.

Debbie has worked for LAVNS for 23 years and been the Office Manager for LAVNS for many years. She feels that the administrative team does an excellent job providing assistance to the clinical staff and to our patients.

Los Alamos Visiting Nurses Services :: Dr. Ross BridgeDr. Ross Bridge, Hospice Medical Director

Ross was born and raised in Washington State, 70 miles North of Seattle.  He is a Human Biology Graduate of Stanford University and received his Medical Degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine.  He completed his family Practice training through an MSU- affiliated residency in Midland, Michigan.  Ross practiced full spectrum Family Medicine (newborn to geriatrics) until moving to Los Alamos in 2010 and also practiced Obstetrics for the first 8 years of his career.

He currently works part-time at Los Alamos Medical Care Clinic seeing patients 14 years and older. Ross moved to Los Alamos with his lovely wife, Danielle Duquette Bridge, MD (who has a private Ob/Gyn practice in Los Alamos) and his two beautiful children, ages 11 and 14. Ross enjoys the outdoors (hiking, biking, skiing) cooking, and reading. He and his son are involved in Boy Scout Troop 122 in Los Alamos.

 Ross greatly enjoys his new position as Medical Director for Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service Hospice. He feels privileged to work with the amazing Hospice staff and participate in the care and comfort of these special patients.

Sande Donaldson CremerSande Donaldson Cremer, RN, BSN Clinical Team Leader

Sande Donaldson Cremer was born and raised in Los Alamos. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico and worked in Albuquerque as part of the neurosurgical team at St. Joseph's Hospital.  She took time off from professional nursing in order to focus her talents on raising four wonderful children.  Sande and her husband, David, recently returned to Los Alamos and Sande joined the nursing team at LAVNS in 2013.  Sande has a passion for taking care of people and thoroughly enjoys the privilege of getting to care for the good people of northern New Mexico.

Pam has been caring for patients for our patients in Los Alamos and surrounding areas for one year. Pam and her family enjoy nature and spending time together.

Los Alamos Visiting Nurses Services :: Deena StreitDeena Streit, RN

Deena began her career with LAVNS many years ago as a Medical Social Worker. Wanting to provide more personal care to her patients, Deena went back to school and obtained her Nursing Degree. We feel very fortunate to have Deena caring for our patients and feel with her background she brings a very special perspective to home care and hospice nursing. Deena is currently providing both MSW and RN services to our patients.

Los Alamos Visiting Nurses Services :: Julie Bagley BanaszekJulie Banaszek, RN

Julie has a wide range of nursing experience. She has been a resident of Los Alamos since 1967 . Her nursing career began at the College of Santa Fe where she graduated with honors with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Julie then practiced obstetrical, newborn and pediatric nursing care at Los Alamos Medical Center from 1976-1983. She attended countless births. Julie then returned to the College of Santa Fe and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with honors. Julie then worked at Santa Fe Indian Hospital in general nursing for 3 years. Julie finished her education with a Master's of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix Summa cum laude. Julie then worked at St. Vincent Hospital in Labor and Delivery until her retirement from bedside nursing in 2015. Julie subsequently also taught as a Professor of nursing at Northern Community College and Santa Fe Community College until her retirement from teaching in 2016. Julie has worked with Los Alamos Visiting Nursing since 1980s. Julie is married, she has 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren.

Jessie has been a practicing nurse for over 50 years. She has provided professional nursing care, which includes health promotion, risk reduction and disease management across diverse environments. She uses the nursing process in a culturally sensitive manner to provide care to individuals and families to meet emerging health needs in a changing society. She continues to be committed to growth as a professional, to nursing as a healing art, and to the principals of sustainability.

Jessie is an organic gardener, hiking, being in nature and photography are her passions.

Michele works for Visiting Nurse Service each Summer and during the holidays. She enjoys caring for our patients in the comfort of their own homes. We love having Michele as part of our team and look forward to each Summer.

Los Alamos Visiting Nurses Services :: Hilde Fitzgerald Hilde Fitzgerald, P.T.

Hilde joined LAVNS in 2003, and is a graduate of University of Texas. She has been a licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania and New York as well as New Mexico, and brought over 20 years experience in Skilled Nursing and Rehab facilities before transitioning to Home Care.

Shannon graduated from ENMU and has been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years. Professional experience includes in-patient rehabilitation, long-term care facilities, home health and public schools.

She resides in Los Alamos with her husband and two children.

Jenn has returned to work with LAVNS as our new Volunteer Coordinator. Jenn is excited to lead our team of volunteers and to expand their role within our organization. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for LAVNS please contact Jenn at 662-2525. Jenn will continue providing chaplain services as needed to our patients and staff.

Lindsay has been an active part of LAVNS patient care for over four years. Staff as well as patients and families adore her gentle caring nature and her lovely smile as she walks in the door.

Pam has been a Home Health Aide for many years at LAVNS.  She enjoys working with patients in their homes.

Noel was born and raised in New Mexico. She has worked for Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service for over 14 years. She enjoys working with the LAVNS team and feels like we are a family.

Noel and her husband Paul are blessed with 3 beautiful children, Steven, Daniel and Krista. Recently Noel's family was blessed with a beautiful baby girl (Mia), this is Noel's first grandchild.  They are  enjoying watching her grow.  Spending time with family are forever memories.

Tammy was born and raised in Los Alamos and cannot imagine living anywhere else. She has been employed by LAVNS for over nine years managing the financial department. Tammy really enjoys her work here at LAVNS and if you have any questions regarding your account never hesitate to call her.

Some of her many hobbies include umpiring softball games. Many of you have heard her yell “Strike” over the years. She also enjoys fishing, camping, and watching her daughter play volleyball and cheerleading.

Krista is our college student who assists the entire team. Krista is currently attending UNM Los Alamos and working towards an engineering degree.
